and you know the rest of the saying. am I wiser? dunno bout that yet. right now though I'm just happy to be able to sit down, smoke my pipe and down a pint in the cool eve of autumn's brisk and beautiful weather. soon, the leaves will turn a burnt umber orange and vibrant gold, the sempiternal winds will whip around me, and ghosts of dead relatives past will come out on the eve of All Hallows. to this, I look forward and reflect backwards. I look forwards to the fact that I am still among the living, and reflect back on the events that shaped me into the person I am today.

and for all of it, I am thankful... especially moreso now that I have a pint in my hand!
